US port strike
We wish to inform you that the ongoing port strike in the USA has resulted in significant delays and additional costs in the form of demurrage, detention and alternative transport solutions.
As your forwarder, we have done everything we can to minimize these impacts, but unfortunately some of these extra costs are out of our control.
In order to ensure continued service and to cover the unavoidable costs associated with the strike, we will need to pass on these additional costs to your company. We ensure that all charges are documented and presented transparently, so you can see exactly what costs have arisen due to the situation.
We understand the challenges this may cause and appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this extraordinary situation. If you have any questions or need further clarification on these costs, we are of course available.
If you need alternative solutions, we are also available and will help you as best as possible to deliver the goods safely to the customer.
